 Welcome to 2011 Origins Registration

Origins Event Pre-registration is LIVE!

Origins pre-registration will close Tuesday, May 22 at 11:59pm PST. Once closed you will not be able to access your itinerary until the show starts May 30. Any items left unpaid at the close of pre-registration will be removed from open shopping carts and placed back in inventory.

 

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE USING THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM!

Events MUST be paid for by the end of the pre-registration period or they will be returned to inventory.
 
Final and Semi-Final Events
Final and semi-final events as well as any other events that require pre-qualification are no longer listed in the online registration system. They are included in the event grids for scheduling and informational purposes.
 

 Multiple Registrations and Passwords

For those wishing to register a family or group all registrations must be put in the system as separate transactions. It would be best if you could use a different email address if you are going to be registering people with the same last name but it is not required. A different password IS required. I apologize for this inconvenience.

The registration system will email you your password if you have forgotten it. If you have more than one badge with the same last name and email on the accounts online password retrieval will be limited to the first account registered into the system. This will also prevent you from being able to access subsequent badges.

If the system prompts you for a password DO NOT reuse an old password. If you need help accessing your password and the system cannot help you please forward any questions or concerns to registration(at)gama.org. Please include your Last name, Email and Password if you are emailing about account issues.

 
Accessing Your Badge

Logging on to the Origins Game Fair Website will not allow you to see your badge: you must log into the registration system (See LINKS below).

Your Website username and password will NOT work with the registration system. When you register, you will be asked for your e-mail address, last name and password. These are NOT necessarily the same ones you used for your Website account.

Generics

Child Badges (children 9 and under as of 5/30/2012) - Pre-registered child badges have the child's first name omitted from the badge and replaced by the word 'Child'. Although Origins requires its attendees to have their real names on their badges, this exception is permissible. Onsite registrants getting a badge for their children can order the badge for 'Child'.

Parents - The back of your child's badge includes a place for you to include your Badge ID # and contact phone number for while you are at the show. For your child's safety, please remember to fill these out.

Generics - Generics can be used to get into events with open spots (ticketed and ribboned players will be seated first). Unused generics can be returned for a refund by 5pm Sunday. Generics cannot be purchased by Individual or Family Day Pass (wristband) holders.
Getting Your Badge - Registrants picking up or purchasing badges at Origins must show a valid picture ID with a name that matches the one on the badge (additional credentials are required for discounted badges). A family member may pick up all the badges for his or her family. Attendees must display their badges at all times.
Tickets - You must have a badge to purchase event tickets. Event tickets can be refunded up until the start of the event (some restrictions apply). Tickets can be refunded after an event if the event is cancelled (the event ticket MUST be signed by the applicable Area Manager to receive this refund).
Day Pass - Persons attending with a Day Pass (wristband) cannot play in ticketed events or events requiring generics. Day Pass (wristband) holders will not be able to purchase generics.
Types of Payment - Origins accepts Cash/Money Orders/Travelers Checks/Credit Cards (Amex - VISA - MasterCard - Discover) with valid picture ID.
Club Badges - Registrants must be on current membership lists previously submitted by approved Origins Clubs to qualify.

Clubs:

Clubs must register each year for your members to qualify for the discount. Please email us at award@gama.org for more information. Club members are responsible for making sure your club is registered with Origins. For club members wishing to use the online registration system choose the Club badge option. GAMA MUST have received your club's registration (this includes a current membership list). Once GAMA receives this we will issue a Coupon Code to your club which will discount the badge to the Club Rate. Club members must include your club name on the Business Name line of the online registration form.
