inappropriately (such as violating hotel or convention policies), we respectfully suggest the
1. If you feel comfortable doing so, point out the inappropriate behavior to the person(s) involved.
Often this will solve the problem immediately.
2. If you do not feel comfortable talking with the person(s) involved, or if talking to them does
not resolve the issue, please report the situation immediately to any Origins Game Fair Security
Volunteer, Area Manager or Origins Game Fair Staff Member. Issues involving an Origins Security
Volunteer or Area Manager should be reported directly to an Origins Game Fair Staff Member.
Please provide a name, badge name / number and / or physical description of the person(s)
involved when reporting an event. Remember that we need information so we can act on any
unfortunate incidents during the event to make everyone’s experience a positive one!
While we are primarily concerned with preventing harassment in Origins Game Fair space during
the convention, we will also respond to Origins-related situations that might occur outside that
space, for example in local shops, bars, restaurants, or on the street, or in online contexts.
