Jamie is a lawyer who practices in the areas of commercial lending, unclaimed property and commercial transactions. He has over 39 years of experience representing lenders in a variety of commercial loan transactions.
Jamie has an extensive nationwide practice assisting retailers, insurance companies, manufacturers and distributors in connection with unclaimed property laws.
Jamie also serves as corporate counsel to a number of privately held companies. He assists these clients in matters involving their owners such as drafting operating agreements and issuing equity, and in mergers and acquisitions, as well as with all manner of standard contracting issues.
Jamie has been an active student of Civil War-related topics since his parents took the family to visit the Gettysburg Battlefield during the summer of 1967. Jamie joined the Central Ohio Civil War Roundtable when it was formed in 1986 and has served in every office of the organization.
Jamie has visited almost every Civil War battlefield and has participated in detailed tours of those places. Jamie has spoken to Roundtables regarding topics as diverse as the Fitz-John Porter Court Martial Odyssey, the Camden Expedition and The Battle of Hanover Court House.
Jamie has recently participated in detailed tours of the Petersburg battlefields which are the subject of his presentation to Origins.
