registration refund Request

Please email registration@gama.org by Sunday, June 7 to request a 100% refund for your badge registration to Origins Game Fair. After that date, a $10 administrative fee will be withheld from your registration. All refunds requests must be made by September 9.

F.A.Q.

  1. Are you still charging the $10 administrative fee mentioned in the previous refund policy?

    No, we will be refunding 100% of your registration cost through June 7, 2020. After that date, the administrative fee will be reinstated.

  2. I requested a refund before this announcement and was charged the $10 administrative fee. Can I get a refund on that?

    Yes, we will be refunding all $10 administrative fees for refund requests processed after March 10, 2020.

  3. How long will it take before my refund is processed?

    Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed back to your original payment method (credit, debit, paypal, etc).

  4. What if I do not request a refund by the deadline of June 7?

    As we are postponing but not cancelling Origins Game Fair 2020, any requests submitted after June 7 will be treated as regular cancellations and follow our normal cancellation policy, being subject to the $10 administrative fee. All refund requests must be made by September 9.

    If we are unable to hold the event in October as scheduled, we will update the refund policy to allow attendees to rollover their badge to Origins 2021, donate the amount to Origins Game Fair, or seek a 100% refund.
